| Course Content | This course provides learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding that they need to progress and succeed in a work environment. If you want to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of English to improve your career prospects, then this is the course for you. There are also functional skills courses for maths and ICT. |
| Course Details | The course is 12 weeks long and classes are run twice a week, 6 contact hours per week. |

| Progression | Progress to GCSE English and maths
Once you improve your English communication skills you can also have access to education and employment in the UK. |
| Fees | Free of charge for people on benefits. Free for working people on the submission of a letter from their employer stating the need for improving functional skills. |
